By downloading, accessing, or using the Kai AI application or website, you (“User”) agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Kai's services.

1. About Kai AI

Kai AI is an AI-powered application designed as a safe safe space for teenagers to:

  1. Express their emotions and feelings
  2. Learn to manage stress and build emotional resilience
  3. Receive support through AI-powered conversations

Note: Kai is not a replacement for parents, teachers, or professional counselors. Kai serves as a companion to help users feel heard, understood, and supported.

2. Registration and Accounts

To use Kai, you may be required to create an account and provide certain information, such as:

  1. Name, email address, and/or phone number
  2. Optional profile data to personalize your user experience

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts and for all activities conducted under them.

3. Age Restrictions and the Role of Parents/Educators

Kai is designed for teenagers aged 12-18.

  1. We encourage parents and educators to guide and support teenagers in using the Kai app, especially for users under 18.
  2. By using Kai, you confirm that you:
    1. Are at least 12 years old, or
    2. If under 18, you are using Kai with parental or educator consent and supervision.

4. Use of the Service

By using Kai, you agree to:

  1. Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
  2. Refrain from using inappropriate, harmful, or unlawful language or content
  3. Not hack, interfere with, or exploit Kai's systems in any way
  4. Not use Kai for fraudulent, dangerous, or unethical activities

5. Data and Privacy

Kai collects conversation data and usage information in order to:

  1. Provide more personalized responses
  2. Improve the quality and accuracy of Kai's services
  3. Develop new features and enhance user experience
